Don’t change anything
Update a public image
The British Library came to us frustrated with their identity and communications system. They wanted to present the Library in a more welcoming and accessible way to increase awareness of both the organisation and its activities. They needed help to understand what was not working and why.
Put the Library at the heart of its content
There were limitations on how much could change, so we created a flexible three-tier communication system that would work for the varied messaging and audiences. It allowed the Library to keep all existing identity elements, including the much celebrated and iconic logo, but use them in a bolder and more inviting manner.

“The creative Red&White came up with has transformed the British Library. It was a really significant piece of work that cut through the culture of the organisation. It has been groundbreaking.”
