Barefoot
Inspiring pupils to think, learn and thrive in a digital world
Simplicity and accesibility
Barefoot is the primary teacher’s resource of choice for computational thinking in the classroom. At the end of 2018, Barefoot had reached over 2 million children. Over 70,000 teachers are part of the Barefoot community and represent over 60% of UK primary schools. We were asked to update their visual identity to better represent the engaging vibrant world of the computational thinking curriculum.
Decode the code
We created an exciting colourful world of shapes and movement to bring the various components of computational thinking to life. With a spirit of fun and energy throughout the brand identity, abstract concepts like Decomposition, Debugging and Evaluation were given memorable graphic symbols, to help understanding and recognition, creating confident computational thinkers across the UK.
