It is just over 5 years ago that we took the leap into the unknown and moved into our first proper studio at 1-5 Clerkenwell Road. And now sitting in our fantastic new home at 99–101 Farringdon Road, busy planning and looking forward to the coming months and years, it feels like a good time take look a quick look back at what we’ve achieved so far.
There have been many many highs in those 5 years — the British Library and Sadler’s Well’s have been dream projects. We’ve grown from 2 people to a team of 10. We’ve worked with some fantastic clients — The Alan Turing Institute, Kodak Moments, Holland and Sherry and Pancreatic Cancer UK. We’ve worked with start-ups and global businesses. We’ve learnt about data science, Savile Row tailors, contemporary dance, religious manuscripts, poetry, cookery, fashion, frontier markets, wine and education. We’ve created some fantastic work, and had fun along the way.
To all the people that have been part of the journey, from the full-timers to the freelancers and long time collaborators, each and every one of you has helped make Red&White what it is today.
Looking back, the thing I’m personally most proud of is that we’ve always done it in our own way. Listening to our clients, working together as a team, making what we do understandable, creating brilliant work, helping our clients achieve what they want to achieve, staying small, keeping honest and always enjoying what we do.
It’s been a tough, rewarding, busy, exciting, sometimes scary, always fulfilling, brilliant 5 years, and I can’t wait to find out what the next 5 brings, and the next 5 after that!
